Fast Prototyping & Pilot Projects

Rapid prototyping. Pilots with impact.
In our own production environment, we quickly translate ideas into tangible prototypes and test new concepts in real retail environments. This gives you insight into functionality, aesthetics and user experience within a few days — and we refine the design together until it is truly ready for scalable production.

From prototype to pilot phase

Rapid prototyping (within 14 days).

We believe in speed and tangibility. That's why we create functional prototypes in our own production environment that are ready within 14 days. This allows customers to immediately see their idea in a real-life context and make quick adjustments.

Pilot projects for real-world validation.

Not every project requires a pilot phase, but for complex or innovative projects, we set up a pilot project lasting approximately six weeks. During this period, we test the solution in a real shop environment and refine it based on real user experience.

This ensures that your solution is technically, aesthetically, logistically and operationally validated before we go into series production.

What does a pilot phase entail?

Testing in a live context

Evaluation of functionality, ease of use and alignment with the marketing strategy.

Tight project management

Short follow-up cycles, clear communication and rapid decision-making.

Assembly & training

Installation by our own assembly team, including training for shop staff or external technicians.

Optimisation before roll-out

We refine the design, packaging, finish and installation based on practical feedback.

Why is this process valuable?

  • Realistic testing of functionality, user experience and logistics.
  • Faster trial-and-error process → immediate feedback and optimisation.
  • Fewer risks, lower costs and a faster path to a production-ready solution.
  • Unique flexibility: our production environment switches effortlessly between small series and rapid prototyping.

EY - Case

High-end metal walls fully tailored to EY's architectural concept.
For the renovated EY headquarters in Diegem, Glotec created exclusive metal partition walls with custom perforations. Thanks to our in-house engineering, prototyping and production, we translated the architectural vision into a technically perfect solution.

By drawing, testing and refining each element in advance, we guaranteed extremely precise execution and a homogeneous end result. The project illustrates how rapid prototyping and technical validation lead to high-quality, production-ready solutions.

The result: refined, timeless and technically masterful partition walls.

Bespoke solutions

No two brands or projects are the same. That’s why we merge design, technology and experience into smart, carefully crafted, all-round solutions which provide a compelling brand experience.
