AVEVE

In the first phase, we built a prototype at AVEVE's head office. After approval, we produced and installed the first four shops in collaboration with Groep Eerdekens.

This was followed by an annual forecast in which all components (more than 94 different items) were recorded. Two weeks before installation, we received the exact order list, after which we prepared the deliveries. Specific customisation for each shop was produced in parallel, so that each location received its own unique finish.

Our tube laser made it possible to produce tables and tube frames quickly and efficiently. In addition, we developed systems to “dress up” existing racks: based on data about the rack configuration and ceiling height, we created top frames and accent walls that fit perfectly.

The project was highly complex:

• Late confirmation of quantities, which meant we had to produce based on stock levels.
• Tight deadlines, with sometimes four shops per week that needed to be delivered to.
• Customisation per shop, which had to be fitted into the production flow each time.

Between 2019 and 2025, virtually all AVEVE stores underwent an upgrade. Most of the existing furniture could be retained, but was renewed and reinforced with smart additions. For customers, this resulted in a shopping environment where product categories are more clearly indicated and customers can find what they are looking for more quickly.
