Redefining fashion retail at ZEB Schoten

ZEB Schoten, the impressive Belgian flagship store with an area of about 1000m², is part of the Fashion Society group, a division of the Colruyt Group. ZEB chose Glotec as a part of the permanent construction team to give their extensive fashion outlet a fresh makeover.

A store interior with unique ambiance zones

One of the unique aspects of ZEB Schoten is that the store is divided into 12 different spheres, each with entirely different furniture. This layout creates a voyage of discovery for the customer while shopping. White metalwork is mainly aimed at female customers, while black metalwork is primarily used for men's departments.

Technical drawings to perfect realization

The store concept and accompanying furniture book designed by Swyzen & Bastijns became our starting point. Using technical drawings, we controlled the machines to produce prototypes. After validation and gathering feedback, each piece of furniture was meticulously manufactured and installed. Glotec's creations include middle furniture, shelving, wall units, accessory panels, and front hanging systems.

A complex but successful project

Although the project was challenging due to many different types of furniture, finishes, and colors - 90 different items, including 20 different center units - we successfully delivered all elements within the agreed lead time of 6 weeks. This delivery was crucial because after our work, the cleaning crew was ready, and the clothes had to be hung up. At Glotec, we understand that timing is everything in the retail world.
