Contactless disinfection post for Virusstop Club

Since the corona crisis, disinfecting your hands has become ‘the new normal’. Companies, stores, hotels, restaurants and cafes ... They all need to offer visitors the opportunity to disinfect their hands. Virusstop Club has made it their mission to win the battle against the virus with innovative solutions. Glotec has played their part too. 

During a brainstorming session, the most important requirements were mapped out. The dispenser needed to be nicely built into the pillar instead of being added to it. It had to work without physical contact. And avoid sanitising alcohol gel landing on the pillar or on the ground. That not only looks messy, it also causes a lot of stains. Glotec designed a slender, personalised pillar in powder-coated steel.

We developed a number of variations, some with and others without screens. Measuring anything from 15 to 24 inches, these digital screens allow personalised information to be shown, wirelessly communicated by computer. To disinfect your hands, you simply place them in the opening. The sensor then automatically tells the in-built dispenser to do its work.
