Wanted: sheet metal department operator.
Job description
We’re looking for a trained or experienced operator for the CNC laser cutting, punching and folding machines in our sheet metal department. You may also be asked to work in other departments whenever necessary.
Your responsibilities
- You’re able to locate and launch the right programmes.
- You’re able to configure machines using the right parameters.
- You’ll be loading and unloading machines.
- You’ll work closely together with designers, programmers, workshop managers and other operators.
- You’ll be monitoring quality and making adjustments where necessary.
- You’re able to read plans correctly.
- You’ll take responsibility for minor maintenance tasks on machines.
- You’ll be managing and monitoring consumables and tools.
What we’re looking for
- You have a third-grade technical secondary education diploma (e.g. mechanical design technology) or equivalent experience.
- You have experience with metalwork.
- You have an eye for quality.
- You’re a customer-focused team player.
- You’re able to work under pressure.
- You always work accurately.
